Budgeteer Blue app for iPhone and iPad

While there are apps that perform a similar function to Budgeteer Blue, there are none in its price range that are even remotely as comprehensive. None are able to track expenses, budgets, incomes and debts at this level of detail, and also separate expenses into subfolders that are can be individually interrogated, reported, graphed and summarised.

This app is a comprehensive tool to allow the user to understand, track and anticipate their finances. It is not a simple tool. but, for all that, the user is unlikely to find a tool that is simpler at this level of financial detail.

Budgeteer Blue offers the following features:

* Separate user accounts, with optional password protection, for when an iPad is shared.
* iCloud storage, so data can be shared and data can be restored if lost.
* Hierarchical data structures, allowing finances to be divided up between business and personal, bank accounts and folders for different types of finances.
* A separate Creditors folder, where you can track what money has gone where.
* A "drill down" feature, allowing the user to examine the totals of any folder independently.
* Financial Items that include;
- Incomes and Debts, which represent monies owed and not paid;
- Incoming and outgoing Budgets, which represent payment plans;
- Incoming and Outgoing Payments, which represent money transfers; and
- Balance Adjustments, which represent initial balances or final balances.
* A Summary View for debts/incomes, budgets or payments that gives a clear indication of the users past and future financial states, detailing totals for the previous period, current period and next period.
* A Report View for debts/incomes, budgets, or payments over the period.
* A Graph View showing debts and debts/incomes, budgets or payments over the period.
* A Calendar View showing when financial events have or will occur.
* A feature permitting a user to disable and enable an item, and to make it "Reportable" or "Not Reportable”, so that the app know how to report the data.
* An extremely sophisticated system for describing repeating financial events, permitting repeating intervals of;
- Days,
- Weeks, including the option to filter by specific days of the week,
- Months, including the option to filter by specific days of the week and days of the month,
- Quarters, including all the previous plus months of the year, and
- Years, including all or the previous.
- And for all of these, the option to filter by set occurrence selector. (i.e. 1st occurrence, 2nd … last)
* An Alert facility which will signal the user when a specific budgets are due at a time each day of the users choosing.
* A print facility to any AirPrint printer.

As you can see, this is a lot of features, and all these features will not be found in any other similar app.
